Tell me about a small gesture someone did for you which made your heart warm up. Spill some honey on my soul

I'll think of an appropriate example too.

When I had a breakdown 2 years ago a woman from down the road turned up with meals to put in my freezer. She'd batch cooked a load of bolognese and chilli for her family and doubled up for my family.

I hate praise, it makes me feel uncomfortable, tearful even, but it’s always good to be acknowledged.

My meta was the one that was there for me when my world exploded and I split from my nesting partner after 8 years she gave me the hugs I needed and stopped things from spiralling out of control for me when I couldn't and that's why I love her so much.

During lockdown, I did food shopping and stuff for a couple of elderly neighbours. Once they felt safe to go to the shops themselves, each of them bought be a bottle of rum to say thanks.

I never expected anything from them for helping but the gesture to say thanks warmed my heart… plus they all must know I love my rum… oops!

One of my work employees is currently off work.. terminally ill.

At Easter he sent the team an assortment of chocolate, wishing us well and saying he is thinking of us.

When I opened it I almost cried... lovely gesture from an incredible man.

My friend/neighbour will often knock my door with a sweet treat! We both do this with each other. I cut her some peonies from my garden the other day.

I absolutely love handmade gifts. There is no price tag which can match thoughtfulness of them.

My bestie does these things for me. Digging out some old photos or bringing out memories. Love her for that.

I often knock on my elderly neighbours door and ask her if there is anything she needs from the shop. If there is, then I give her my list too. I mean, there is no point us both traipsing to the shop. She has a free bus pass too, so it doesn't cost her anything...

A heroin! I had this done for me and did it too. Feeding people is just such a simplest but most caring gesture.
