Yes! I have had back over £500 in the last year or so just doing what i would normally but going through top cash back! It’s amazing

The worst is remembering to check there first!

A cash back website. You go there find what you are looking for click to shop and get cash back.. no catch. Ive had cash back or vouchers on life insurance, car insurance shopping the usual stuff you get online!

I believe there's shoop.fr which amounts to the same thing.

I'm definitely someone who forgets to use cashback sites, and I'd never recommend buying something you wouldn't have bought without the cashback since there's always a risk they won't pay out.

Yes! It's great. I'm nearly up to a grand cashback from over the years. Very handy for when you want to treat yourself.

I always go via this when changing utilities/broadband etc.

I will do this everytme if I remember. I usually do compare the meerkat but only for cheap cinema tickets. These days is rather have the money.

Depending how much you care about a few quid, it's worth using multiple comparison sites anyway. Saved me about £80 on my car insurance this year. Mad that we've gone from a world without comparison sites to... Needing a comparison site for comparison sites, but there we are. Quidco might give you £20 cashback for using their car insurance tool, but if its £50 cheaper with on GoCompare anyway, you may as well go through them and not have the risk / faff of cashback.

As for which retailers go through cashback sites - way more than you'd think! Grocery shopping is typically a no-go (although Quidco have Iceland on there), and huge retailers like Amazon won't be on there, but stuff like Argos, Game etc. are there, and you almost certainly won't struggle to find any sort of financial service provider on there (bank accounts, ISAs, life insurance etc.)

There's also browser extensions for the cashback sites (at least there is for Quidco, dunno about TCB) which tell you if a site offers cashback. Always read the terms though - often VAT and delivery isn't included for cashback, and stuff like using a voucher code can invalidate your claim.

TCB is great, I try and use it as much as possible.

If I'm shopping for something, my usual process is shop around to find where it's cheapest, then check TCB to see if there's cash back. If there is, great, I'll buy through that (usually in a separate browser), otherwise I'll check the next cheapest place and see if any cashback makes up the difference. I've had £632 back so far since 2013.

TCB gets paid by certain brands to promote them abs to send traffic to their sites. You get back a bit of the commission everytime you buy from those brands if you go through TCB.

I think.

Yes it's mostly that, the sites on TCB pay them a commission every time you make a purchase through them, then they share some of that with you (actually I've just checked and they claim that you get all of the commission and they make their money simply through advertising). You can also pay £5 a year for Plus membership that gets you slightly better cashback rates.

Yep.

Amazon, Currys and some flower shops are on there, so that covers most Christmas shops.

Always worth checking for Amazon deals whilst their Prime Day (June 21st) sales are on. I managed to get an Amazon Echo Dot for £1 (after cashback) last year.

TCB is great - we change mobile, broadband, car insurance and utilities as soon as the contract period is up and save loads on a new contract plus we get loads of cash back. We've had over a 1000 in cashback in the last two or three years. Referring friends and family is a win win too!

TCB is great when I remember to check if there is an offer on it for what I am shopping for.

You can convert the cashback into various specific money destinations and you often get a couple of percent bump more again. I tend to convert mine into Amazon or Tescos vouchers.

Got about 500 quid over the years using it.

Worth checking your own bank acct as well to see if they do cashback as well.
