Parents use the kids as weapons?!

I’ve had done to me in the past, it’s hard. I had to fight see my kids, an I went court and eventually won the case. But I never really got over the fact someone could be that cruel to deny their child seeing the other parent (especially when parent is willing to spend time & money and help mother with what she needs) just baffles me..

I’m very pro equal parental rights unless exceptional reasons why there shouldn’t be.

My mum used us against my dad & I swore I would never do that.

They're the lowest of the low, the only ones who are hurt are the children. If you'd wilfully hurt your child, you shouldn't be their parent.

My lads mam, went real funny when I got with someone new.. years later and had a family. That’s when the problem started, I had people saying it’s cause she’s “jealous” but the woman herself was in a relationship, engaged and had another child just like to think, she enjoyed being an awkward fucker.. who enjoyed wasting my time and money

I've got no offspring of my own, but have seen it happen in the past with a previous relationship that I was in many moons ago, it's a sad case indeed when it comes to that, that's for sure

With you OP.

I spent a total of 7.5 years fightingbthrough courts.

Eventually got custody of one, but other went into Foster care due to the emotional abuse from mother

It’s people that do that that make it difficult for genuine cases where their is serious risk.

I know one case here where a woman was begging the courts and social services not to give access to her ex, she lost her case, he was granted access. He took the two children 4 and 7 drowned them, put them in their beds, killed the dog as well then hung himself.

Cases like that, I grant and respect. And that’s where A) Justice system fails B) Social services fails

Sometimes mothers do so because they believe they should safe guards their children. But they don't have enough evidence to present to children's services for example.
