Can someone explain to me why some couples say they don't want bi guys? Like do they think your going to spontaneously fuck their husband or something? I'm not having a go at people who say this I just want to understand their reasoning

They just don't want to meet bi guys. Mildly frustrating but move on and use it as a filter

That might be part of the concern, yes.

Homophobia; the worry that a gay man will treat you the same way that you treat a woman

Probably not. I wouldn’t explain my preferences or reasons to anyone.

It's for a range of reasons and, for some, may include some homophobia. Preferences are that, so it's better to put your energy towards finding people who are open to bi and curious guys, rather than understanding others. Continue to feel confident that being honest is preferable.

Doesn't worry me at all .

I'm bi and it's perfectly OK if people don't want to meet bi guys ...

It's perfectly acceptable for people who only want to meet bi guys too

Some couples don't want to meet bi guys, whereas some will ONLY meet bi guys.

Stop worrying about those whose criteria you don't meet and focus on those you do

We've met bi men, mostly we don't realise until we accidentally find their "other" profile. Years ago on another site one guy made Mr N wonder a bit but apart from that they've all been respectful of boundaries.

Bi women *in our experience* are a whole other story

Both are stereotypes and are generally not true but that’s the problem with stigmas.

Maybe politely ask those couples why and see if they wish to reply

Everyone will have a tailored to them answer and that will also include negative stories

That's a bit different though because they might be looking for bi fun, it's not like a bi guy couldn't just do the same as someone straight

Oh...this is getting asked again is it

No one acctually needs to justify this but I'll do it...again.

Firstly, I'm 100% straight. Its ny wife that's the bi one. Yes, actual.bi and not curious. She has no interest in seeing 2 guys doing anything together (not that it would happen with me anyway).

Secondly, no amount of "I'll play straight" arguments hold water.

We've been swinging for over 20 years and know well enough to say many people make a lot of claims that dont hold true on the night. Many guys push their luck.

Now I'm not insinuating that all bi guys are going to try it on. That's not a reality of the situation as most are respectable guys. But it just takes one in the heat of the moment and I'm the one who has to deal a huge boundary of mine being crossed.

So why even put ourselves in the position? Theres plenty of people on fab to meet who are willing to meet bi guys. Just respect the fact some of us wont and we can all get on with our days. It isnt personal, it isnt any sort of homophobia or persecution. It's simply a case of bi guys falling into a category we have no interest in. We want what we want and I'm afraid bi guys are not it.

I’ve been wondering about this. I’ve not been to a club yet (keen to try) but I’ve heard stories of women touching women without consent, but it’s seen as “more acceptable” because hey, it’s just a bit of fun and not “as serious “ (because there’s no penis involved I guess). No idea if this is true but

I think women in general get away with things like that a lot more the amount of times me and my friends have been touched up in clubs is stupid and it's saw as harmless but if it was the other way around its sexual harassment

It’s up to the couple if they want to meet bi guys or not but I do get a little inside Chuckle at the text

Ie 80% off this site is bi guys even if they profile says straight

One look at a tv/ts inbox is all that’s needed lol

I’ve recently decided I’m curious, never had an experience as it happens,,,,,,I feel I’m primarily straight I’m not gonna jump on a fella, I’m not interested in meeting a fella on his own or kissing a fella, but I might be partial to some cock interaction in a couple or party situation, so how do you clarify that? I’ve found a couple of times I’ve be knocked Back because of this, how do people see this? Many thanks

Yeah I know what you mean I've been in the same sort of situation I think the best way is to be upfront at the start about what you like and don't like

We don't go to clubs but we won't meet couples where the woman is bisexual any more due to a few unpleasant experiences.
