Ventured out to the pub yet.

"I went to my local pub as they are open but are still table service only and taking it seriously "

They have to, they could potentially get closed down by the authorities if they don't. It's part of the risk assessment for being able to open, break it and you're fucked.

Manchester (he/him)

We haven’t done anything that we weren’t able to do over the past year.

There’s just too much uncertainty and risk at the moment.

The guidance is to use caution and your own judgement.

Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean that you should

No, but then I don't really do pubs.

Except if i'm gigging, but then it's likely to be a while yet before pubs will be looking to be booking entertainment

Not been. Dont drink much. Only go to the pub for meals.

Going to the gym makes you think about your food and drink choices.

Have been out a few times and down in London , seems perfectly safe as they are not as busy as supermarkets, both had all our jabs and still stick to the sensible rules

We have eaten in a beer garden and it was lovely. Living an almost normal existence is vital for my sanity. So although I was anxious about it, I am glad we did. Tables were far apart and the waiting staff were masked, gloved and wore aprons. I carry bacterial wipes and spray everywhere I go and wear a mask. I take my own precautions.

Always have done.

I have.

Pre covid... I used to meet regularly a girlfriend for a glass of wine, dinner and a catch up after work.

I hadn't seen her for so long, so when we could we sat outside at a table and had a very pleasant evening

The biggest issue I've found is people lacking patience coz it takes longer to get served.

I can understand the frustration with having to wait longer, but it just is and no amount of eye rolling or bitching will speed things up. People only have one pair of arms and legs, but I do like not having to dodge people walking straight at me and not having crowds blocking walkways.

Cheshire

Treated a friend to a pub lunch last week, as she went car shopping with me and let me try her automatic car. Enjoyed it so much, bought one

First time in over a year at the pub and proper guidelines appeared to be in place.

I doubt I’ll be going back some time soon, but I enjoyed a bit of normality for a hour or so.

I sat in a pub garden last week. Tables were well away from each other, so it was like sitting in your back garden.

Wirral.

Oh I've been to my fave country pub a couple of times for food & a catch up. But it's never busy, so I'm fine with that.

Don't fancy a town centre pub on a Friday night, like.

But then, I never did anyway, not being a drinker x
