There was a guy on I heard on the radio many years ago who changed his first name to Lord by deed poll. He said that the service he got from banks was suddenly phenomenal.

Pretty sure you legally can't change your name to anything that may mislead people into think you have a title or status you don't have, like Lord, Lady, Doctor, Reverend etc.

I am in the process of changing my name by deed poll at the moment actually. So many forms!
