I've contacted the site owners and they reassured me that they have added extra servers and bandwidth for tonight's event.

I’m not sure the Op didn’t say, I think it’s like when you go see a band, you get there for 7:40 and then they might come on at 9:30. I dunno if there’s gonna be support threads first before the headline thread!
