Well say you meet someone on a Monday, take them for a drink on Tuesday, you'll be making love by Wednesday and Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I guess you can ponder that question on your chill day on Sunday.

I would say trust your instincts. You are obviously having doubts, or you wouldn't be asking.

Maybe talk to the other person about the dynamic and see what their thoughts are on continuing to meet

I date alot it's like a hobbie, don't have time or particularly the desire for a long term partner it doesnt do anything for me, I tend to date for a few months then move on I'm always very honest about it been casual and not wanting anything more first date as a rule I know within first 5 mins if I like them then after that there is no set rule some you find out half hour later you don't like them, some could be 4 weeks later best thing to do is be your self and enjoy every thing see what happens.

I guess it depends. I think if you're not sure after 2-3 dates then they're probably not. Sometimes you know after 1.

He works offshore so was messaging/chatting/video calling for a bit before we met.

I tend to do one or two social meets first. If after that I'm not wanting to have sex with them, then I likely never will.

They will either become a friend or we'll part ways at this point.

Last woman I dated it was the third one, when we were having lunch at a pub next to the Thames in London. Perfect day nice and sunny, decent food and a pint but she was looking down on her phone a lot and not really engaging in conversation.

After I left on the train I sent her a few long messages and I got one line answers as replies. So I told her in a message I didn’t think it was working out and next things she’s on the phone telling me I was ‘ruining her life’

Should’ve told her I was a Transvestite instead, I’m sure that would’ve ended the relationship easier
