How many times would you meet a prospective partner before you decide to stay or go?

Not sure.. If I go, there will be trouble and if I stay it will be double. Should I stay or should I go?

Well say you meet someone on a Monday, take them for a drink on Tuesday, you'll be making love by Wednesday and Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I guess you can ponder that question on your chill day on Sunday.

I would say trust your instincts. You are obviously having doubts, or you wouldn't be asking.

Maybe talk to the other person about the dynamic and see what their thoughts are on continuing to meet

One's usually enough to discover if I want to find out more about someone but I'd been married for about two years first time round before I realised we weren't compatible

I date alot it's like a hobbie, don't have time or particularly the desire for a long term partner it doesnt do anything for me, I tend to date for a few months then move on I'm always very honest about it been casual and not wanting anything more first date as a rule I know within first 5 mins if I like them then after that there is no set rule some you find out half hour later you don't like them, some could be 4 weeks later best thing to do is be your self and enjoy every thing see what happens.

where the mood takes us

We knew that we're perfectly matched after first date. I knew he'll be my husband after first kiss

For me it’s when I decide there’s nothing they have to offer that I want. That could happen on the first, second or umpteenth meet.

I guess it depends. I think if you're not sure after 2-3 dates then they're probably not. Sometimes you know after 1.

I knew I as staying the minute I saw him on our first date!

He works offshore so was messaging/chatting/video calling for a bit before we met.

He’s like my missing piece, soulmate if you will

I tend to do one or two social meets first. If after that I'm not wanting to have sex with them, then I likely never will.

They will either become a friend or we'll part ways at this point.

Generally like a couple of socials before more happens when I was meeting but then that’s because I was looking for fwb not hookups

Last woman I dated it was the third one, when we were having lunch at a pub next to the Thames in London. Perfect day nice and sunny, decent food and a pint but she was looking down on her phone a lot and not really engaging in conversation.

After I left on the train I sent her a few long messages and I got one line answers as replies. So I told her in a message I didn’t think it was working out and next things she’s on the phone telling me I was ‘ruining her life’

Should’ve told her I was a Transvestite instead, I’m sure that would’ve ended the relationship easier
