Kinky, absolutely! Would have loved to get into urbex when I was a bit younger. Had the opportunity when I met a group of photographers who explored various abandoned buildings, but I was a bit too much of a wuss to join them!

I was that way as well and then one day I was just like “fuck it” and off I popped.

Something very serene about abandoned places!

It was the climbing over barbed wire fences or lifting manhole covers and getting in underneath. Was terrified I'd get stuck hah

Shane because such as abandoned hospitals and theme parks are super interesting. They showed me old hospitals which still had medical equipment and even patient records in there. Never looked up the backstory, but how on earth is that ever a thing

Haha that barbed wire fence is definitely a thing, I climbed over my first about a month ago (I had just been able to walk into the two previous locations), my shoe laces untied, I panicked and then spent two weeks with my ankle on ice xD

Yes, definitely. Industrial and modern (i.e. post industrial revolution) social history are the most interesting subjects.

There's some pretty cool stuff here in Harwich (Napoleonic redoubt, WW2 gun/radar emplacements, the Kinder Transporten story, Mayflower, ferries etc.).

Somewhere In The Ether…

One of the most interesting vlogs I have ever watched was from a few years ago wherein a Russian lady used to document the areas surrounding Chernobyl.

There was an almost tangible eerie beauty to the places she visited which included long deserted villages reclaimed by nature, with plates often still upon the dining tables etc, such was the hurry with which the population was evacuated following the infamous 1986 disaster.

She always took a Geiger Counter with her and would flee the area on her motorbike after a set amount of time for obvious safety reasons.

Yes to all three, although I've dialled down the urbexing since getting a job I care about losing. Hah.

Also, now, having read your profile, I'm daydreaming about a kinky urbex gangbang. Hah.

North Bucks

I grew up in what was basically a fortress city gone to ruin. Had tunnels everywhere so loved exploring them. Found some very weird Shit.

Have tried to do here but most places being regenerated round here. Shame as there was a fantastic asylum that was still kitted out which was a brilliant explore. I am signed up member to 28days so always on the look.

I love urban exploration and photographing the onset of ruin and decay… it fascinates me thinking of how places that used to be busy and useful can be left to disrepair…

Not combined it with any kink yet though…

Try urbex.co.uk it's a great site for uk exploring.

Just do a bit of research and think about safety first because some buildings are more dangerous than others.

And work out your plausible story if you're ever stopped by security

My dog has got under a fence and into the property on more than one occasion and I'm sure I saw children playing in a dangerous area so wanted to try to get them out for you to save the buggers damaging your building

Joolz guides on YouTube he is a great content creator for history around London, one of my favourite places to explore and enjoy its history. Not really into exploring abandoned buildings but do appreciate those who do it and upload their adventures.

As much as I enjoy the countryside I also think urban areas are also a wealth of interest and discovery.
