No, not those puppies (sorry), actual furry, cute, young puppies. My little man doesn't know what to do with himself and he's slept far too much today. I fear another 5.30am start

How do you keep them cool on days like today?

Cooling mats. A cool (not cold) damp towel over their back. These can help

Cool mats or cool coats are good.

Or I make towels damp with cold water for mine to lay on and he has his own fan

I normally use a towel that’s sat in some ice water but you also don’t want to shock their system so a damp cold towel can do the trick ok as well. Try and keep the dogs chest cool with the towel and that brings their body temp down.

Damp towel on the floor.

Shady room

Bowl of ice cubes. Our dog used to like those and also frozen peas!

Be careful with ice, especially with a puppy...it can cause choking or break their teeth. It can also upset their tummy, which I'm sure you could do without, especially on a hot day

Ice should be fine so long as the dog is not already overheating (or not already had some to cool down too much already) with regards to temperature.

Thank you guys, all very helpful. I was thinking of getting a paddling pool tomorrow. He might just chew it up though!
