How long is ‘a while’?

The ratio of men to women/couples here is massive; you need to stand out from the crowd somehow (good/interesting profile, good pictures, good communication) or be very lucky to get noticed.

I’d say you’re looking at six months at least, more likely double or triple that. This generally isn’t a ‘find a fuck in 5mins’ kind of place; it can happen, but most likely won’t. There’s more of a lifestyle and social tone for the vast majority here.

Remember we are still in a pandemic so most will be reluctant to meet until we get the all clear, and from your veris you’ve already had success, just be patient and I’m sure you’ll strike a chord with someone soon

What have you done in that time to try finding someone?

The green arrow shows you don't interact with the forums, which will get you more recognised and get more people looking at your profile.

Have you tried any social events advertised on here? They are meant to be a good way of meeting people.

I have a massive scar down the front of my leg that makes me uncomfortable being on show, but I'm learning to live with it, people will see past things like that if they lime you enough

Whilst Annie is, of course, absolutely right and it’s incredibly sound advice I can’t help but wonder the extent of the absolute meltdown there would be if ... etc etc you know the rest!!
