I'm coming to the conclusion that this site is a massive confidence killer for alot of its male users, I'm not sure how many men feel the same.. let's talk about that?

If it's killing your confidence perhaps you are taking it to seriously ....best to just see it as some light fun, and not expect too much. You have to remember there are a lot of blokes here!

It's not just men, women get their confidence knocked on here too. Rejection isn't nice but it's part and parcel of being on a site like this.

The only thing I can share is;

Don't let your self-worth be decided on someone else's preference.

My worth and attraction here are kinda meaningless and incidental

If you're using your time here as a measure of either, you set yourself up for a bumpy ride

It's actually been the complete opposite for me.

I don't meet many and average a message every couple of weeks but my forum interaction and general experience has been very positive.

Im sorry I should have included to all genders in my statement, there is obviously rejection thrown from both sides but there is definitely a choice advantage

I wouldn't say I'm the most confident person anyway but if I feel the 'site' is starting to effect it then I log off and take a break from it. Sometimes it's easy to get too involved and remembering this isn't your life is needed

It can be a killer of ego please don't confuse that with confidence many people do. Your ego will say " I look hot and everyone will want me" confidence will say " I think I look hot im going to share it with people"

But even the choice advantage doesn't necessarily work to women's advantage in terms of not denting the ego. The fact that men will proclaim women to be 4/5/6's and yet still message wanting to fuck isn't flattering. You can tell when a man is messaging because you have a vagina, not because of who you are. That's not boosting confidence or ego.

Anyway, as far as the OP goes - it can definitely dent something, yes. When it gets like that I take a bit of a break, recharge my batteries and reset my outlook on it. I hope you find your confidence again soon.

I'd like to think it's my self worth that I'm letting get affected which is silly I know

I'd like to think I message with care, I'd read someone's profile and go from there but when you have done this many time and have been ignored every time it kinda hits, just me billing silly
