Yeah it must make you feel like a tick box on someone's sex sheet.

But if they are open about what they want it makes it easier to avoid them. Some people just want sex meat and that's ok. I they are open about it the 2 sex meat people can fuck wildly and have fun.

The people who want chat and giggles can avoid the sex meat people and treat each other as individuals.

In any given text, the usual convention is to spell out the term the first time you use it, followed by the abbreviation in brackets, which you can then use in subsequent instances. It's just good practice – including the reader, rather than excluding them by leaving them to figure out what you mean.

Exceptions exist for terms that have permeated the culture – NHS, BBC, NASA, et cetera.

Teachable moment: All acronyms are abbreviations, but not all abbreviations are acronyms.

If you say it aloud as a word – NASA, UNESCO, NATO, et cetera – it's an acronym.

If you say it aloud as letters – BBC, NHS, ITV – it's an initialism.
