Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

For those playing the first Word of the Week (another original game from the Original Polo emporium)the game reaches it's end TODAY.

1. Please post how many times you have used your word

2. Please post your guess if you have spotted words being used a little too frequently by others. - Post the word and the name.

3. If you haven't got a word for this inaugral week you can still post if you think there has been a recurrent word.

Participant list on the original post... I will go and find and bump and re-post on here.

I have used my word 18 times. I feel I should disallow 6 of these as I snuck it into a questionnaire/interview with four people, used it to describe the game to a friend and, used it on my status line one day.

Diamond, you did guess Femme's word correctly.

For those still trying to get it - montipound is not the word! The first and last letters are correct as are three in the middle.

4 times on the forum

6 times in pm's ... replying "you are just not (the word) enough for me. I really could have used it a lot more in this way.

But the use which made me nearly piss myself was a whopping 10 times in the chemist.

The chemist example has made me laugh. They're used to care in the community though...

You are a clear front runner at the moment. Can you list the other words, though? In your usual (your word) manner?

I think really it should only count in the forum.... anywhere else is a bonus.

I wouldn't call her effervescent, she didn't exactly fizz when the boat sank.

Well done. I did see two threads that you posted on that I thought would benefit by the insertion of your apt word.

Can you say that again and this time not make it unintelligible.

Translation:

You gave enough hints on this thread so there's no need to say which word was yours as people should be able to work it out now. You can tell them which word was mine (lickety's) if you like.

From the hints I gather effervescent was yours Polo?

From the PM comment I was thinking "local"? "sexy"? And then wondered how you'd use those 10 times in the chemist...

Well done. Although I will say that one of these is so easy to guess because she used it almost exclusively.

There was also a clue about one participant and their word in the participant descriptions.

Mine seem easy peasy guessing at some of the ones I think Polo has given out for this week.
