I went to see Sleeper play a gig in Lancaster, in 1993 I think, got talking to four lads at the bar, who turned out to be the support, Longpigs, who I’d never heard of, but they absolutely rocked the place! Louise Wener was amazing too, was a truly memorable night

Reading

I have three being greedy.

The first monsters of rock at Donnington. Richie Blackmore headlined . This due to first big open air event.

The Who at Wembley arena . This on night we were there. Pete Townsend told audience that I think John Entwistle

was going to sing. He walked off stage. It took several minutes before they played. Saw on tv next week same concert from Germany and this did not happen.

The other Queen at Wembley arena. Freddie Mercury stopped playing set. Shouted . You F ******are supposed to be enjoying this. Then went on to do a lot of rock and roll songs . Friends who went next night did not have this happen. This on Flash tour.

Punk ? Your kidding right Ffs ? Now I completely underestimate not just your music choice but the choices you made in the other aspects of your life !

Bono single handedly fixed 76% of all world hunger ( fact )

while you where in some dingy nightclub banging out a pink Mohawk to some twats that decided to play punk for a living

Again I’m shocked and honestly disappointed in your disregard for such a living ( I think ) ? Icon
