A sculptor has suggested that Rhodes statue should not be removed but should be turned around to face the wall in shame. Is that a solution?

Should we rename William the Conqueror the rightful name of William The Bastard for nicking our country?

Saw your headline, OP, and that was my immediate thought. History is not erased but nor is the man celebrated. The curious may even enquire, "Why is facing the wall?"

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

If you love Cecil Rhodes, you'll want to see his statue every day. But who really loves Cecil Rhodes?

We can't change our history, but we can change our heroes.

Our whole system of social hierarchy land tenure is based on this theft. I always taught pupils his 'proper' name. I rather admire E Windsor but her claim to be our sovereign is pretty dodgy!
