Credit Where credit is due!

Has anyone ever jumped to the conclusion that a considerate act was done by you?

If so, did you let them carry on thinking it?

Did you take the credit and then get found out?

Would you or have you taken the credit for someone else?

Has it been awkward if they thought it was you and you had to put them straight?

Have you ever given someone credit and then found out it wasn't them?

Yeah sod it.... take the credit without actually admitting it was you! Then if found out, technically you didn’t fully accept it

Besides - there are so so many acts that we all do that we are not looking for recognition so take what you can, when you can

" at work this happens all the time "

Are you one of those amazing miracle women that make the little stuff happen without getting any appreciation for it? Every job I'd start, I learnt to seek out the women in the office who were super fucking useful and considerate, always knew where the pens were kept etc... They make businesses work, not overpaid men with male pattern baldness hidden away in their private glass boxes.

No. I would not the a credit for someone else and it drives me mad when one does. I'd always call it out when possible.

I gave my friend a set of embroidered bed linen, she thought I'd made it and told everyone how clever I was. Then I had to tell them all I'd bought it

I've had a few people take credit for things I've done over the years. Both work or personal acts.

I couldnt take the credit for someone elses work, As id rather acknowledge it was them who had done it.

As a poster in the valentines posts Ive found many would lie taking the credit for someone elses poems.

Yes ive been called a liar when iv pmed to let them know it was me who sent them.

Ive also had many very nice thankyous.

I'd have to be honest and say it wasn't me it was them, I'd feel guilty taking credit for someone else's good deeds etc
