Advice anyone??

There are women I see and I like but I never have the courage to talk to them. I'm fine meeting on here etc, but when it's for something more I lose all confidence and have very low self esteem, I think I'm quite ugly too and no woman has ever approached me which confirms it.

Kinda sucks, I'd love to a relationship with a lady.

For example there a lady I still talk to from school, we were great friends at school and she often gave me hugs, but then she had to move away. We found each other online again and still talk now and then though. I have always liked her as a friend and more, and still do. I'd never say anything though not to ruin what we had and school was a long while ago, she probably see's me as a different person now. I also just don't have any confidence to say anything either

Be yourself, honestly just be honest and truthful to a woman. That's one of the things I look for in a prospective partner. I've left relationships over small lies because if I can't trust someone then the relationship isn't going to last.

Do you know whether this girl is already in a relationship? Do you know where she's now living?

Make up a story about you're being sent away on business to wherever she lives and ask her if a) she can recommend any good restaurants where you can eat instead of just the hotel you'll be staying in, and 2) if she'd like to join you to catch up on everything that's happened since school.

Worst she can do is say No... but who'd turn down a free meal with an old friend?

If there's no spark then you've not made a fool of yourself and you've still got a good friend.

Hey sorry to hear of your predicament...as you are probably aware there are many WUM's on this site as on most Forums. My advice for what it's worth (1 failed marriage and numerous serious relationships) is to give it time. It's unlikely you will get into a relationship when you really "want" it. Just be yourself; be positive; look happy etc. It will happen for you when it's meant to. Can't say more than that really. If you come across as needy desperate etc. it's one surefire way to put someone off.

I was trying to make the point to the lighthearted poster who replied to the OP. Perhaps on reflection I should have used the word serious instead of sad.

Far better serious than sad as they can be taken differently. I used to think this place wasn't for relationships but been told lots happen on here. Its a bitch life at times when you want more than you have.
