Yes to all single men out there on here

Today meet was five years in the planning we got here at long last after a few socails to all single men wait see cos there no timescale

There was a lot of stop to starts to it as I say over the years as I say

Now dont give up let the time find it self this isnt a race no should be treated at such

Now there are a lot of really nice guys on here who are not pushy and are a creit to the site and life style

Now there some who think its a free for all which is isnt

Now you have to let it find its own timeing and not push it

Its how to find and get the best from this

Some folk your meet almost right away and play soon follows fun some you have to wiat for it all to find its own level and it own way

So hold back dont push cos most of this dont happen over night

Lots of things have to fall into place for for this to begin

So I will open this to see what folk have to say

5 years to plan a meet, what did you have an opening and closing ceremony with two weeks of events in between ?!

I’m not for rushing into anything but five years? One thing I’m not after on Fab is a pen friend. I’m here to meet real people. Not necessarily for sex but at least a coffee or a stroll.

5 years in the making. Not for me.

Wow that’s a long arse time but congrats for you both in eventually getting it on I just hope after all that buildup and time it was amazing and not a flop as that would be very sad indeed and will there be a round 2 hopefully not in another 5 years keep us posted

Sounds like a couple of people who got on really well and kept in touch, let it happen naturally. Bet it was a great experience when you met in the end

5 years long time , did u meet while he was serving his prison sentence then ? As unless you couldn’t physically meet one another I couldn’t see why anyone would want to wait 5 years ? But that’s just me I’d presume after prob one year if she didn’t want to meet me she prob didn’t want to but that’s just me

I hope it was worth the wait for you both

Did you both go without for 5years? Or did you have other lovers in that time?

Imagine waiting that long and it turned out to be crap then having to wait another 5 years for the next bus to come along

Im happy to get to know someone socially, equally im happy meeting and getting straight into the fun side.

Five years would be too long for me, unless it was one of these overseas romances, even then....five years

I couldn't do it, hope it all went well for you both

If it takes you 5 years to have a social with me and decide if you like me enough for a meet I’ll save us both the time and say don’t bother.

No ones that busy. It’s a case of being bothered at that point.

I know I take my time to get to know someone before I meet but I'm talking weeks .5 years nah that's too long and we would lose interest in meeting or they would have long ago been friendzoned .

I mean this is a swinging site right I'd assume they were meeting other people they had already made a connection with maybe another reason they weren't in any rush

shits creek

Work patterns clashing, being unable to afford a hotel or travel, responsibilities, not being local to one another.

There are umpteen reasons a meet could have taken that long.

Unless I book time off work as holiday there's zero guarantee that I'll get my rota'd days off or my shifts can change very short notice. Shit happens. To pin me down as a definite I need to book it off, and I ain't gonna book time off willy nilly. I save my holiday for my birthday week, gigs, special occasions and when I'm starting to feel burnt out.

So yeah, it can easily happen that it takes what seems like an age unless the timing aligns all flukey.

I don't think it takes five years to get a connection to someone here!

Basically all interest will gone along with what you are looking for here! Depends on the people here!

I think and I am actually like this: I rather wait 1 year and if there's a connection with someone ok ! If not I'll move on ?!

I understand meeting on here and staying in touch etc, then meeting following that, or meeting in person but not seeing each other for ages. But I think I’d struggle to understand a pair trying to actively arrange a meet for five years.

Wow... Life is too short to wait that long.

But I have a short attention span, so yeah. I think 5 months would probably be my limit

Congrats on finally meeting but 5 years is a bit long for me to wait for a meet.

Waiting over a year because of covid is more than long enough but has given time to get to know people better.
