What if there was a month on fab where men took the backseat for a week and women had to make the first move?

Would women on here complain less and be happier about the state of no bombardment and harassment?

I'd love to see if tables were turned.

Of course, after the first message, I'm sure the dynamic would change back in some cases, but just to think what that little spanner could do.

I spend less time searching and reading profiles than I ever did attempting to keep up with my inbox. Plus I never dread going in there now.

I suspect exhibitionists wouldn't be so keen though.

Men would start complaining about the lack of women messaging and calling them all uppity bitches, saying it's unfair that they have to wait because they'll never get noticed amongst all the other men.

The women I know on Bumble love being in control... but they also hate having to send those first messages as apparently it's hard to come up with something interesting, unique and targeted towards someone who only had a 20 word profile. Who'd have known?

It would definitely be an interesting experiment.

It wouldn’t change anything much for me, I don’t get many messages, and I’m not really looking all that much for men anymore. I have plenty of male friends already, so I’d only contact very, very occasional men who really stood out. I’d concentrate on women and couples.

Maybe all us bi women would have a nicer time, because we could just talk to each other.

And guys? Just so you know - lots of us are more interested in women and couples, so “lol, they’d hate not getting messages and they’d have to message us” wouldn’t necessarily work out like that for you. We’d all be too busy having lovely lady-sex instead.

And the women who do want men still wouldn’t message the ones with rubbish profiles, so if anything the majority of men on here would get even less out of the site.

Feel a lot of very good men are being missed out on these websites

And more than you as a female may feel there are a lot of single men who would honour good women if given opportunity

This is not a chat up line btw but an honest answer representing a male side of modern agenda

Also depends on what women want and perahaps of fearing that men are all out to dominate and run away...

Men are human and everyone is case specific

In this modern world men should appreciate feminist ideals and be humble and respectful...

And sometimes a bit of role play is extremely sexy
