I kinda disagree with you a bit there is room on fab for all the fun, flirting and silliness but also a safe people to vent things they may not be able to in day to day life.

That's fair enough and it's a valid viewpoint, however when to vent do you ever wonder how that impacts on others? It's not all gonna be about getting it out and pooling resources. Each action will being a reaction, not always a great one. If you feel stronger then maybe someone else feels weaker too. Just when I pop on fab for some sex and giggles, quite often my box is filled with some very odd mail which isn't about sex or giggles *shrugs*

I can overanalyse and take it seriously (depending on how my moods are swinging). Some will take it seriously and some won't. It depends whether you feel you can make genuine connections merely through a screen and not just in 'real life' (and this might be how you see the interactions as just seeing 'words on a screen' or having a sense of the person behind the screen).

It also comes down to this idea that the web is a seperate thing to real life - it might have been in the earlier days but I think the web is now just another part of real life.

'It's just a bit of fun' is synonymous, for me, to 'Smile, cheer up' (and that's not a positive).
