Newry Down

I don't do this myself, but I know a lot of homes where it does happen;

the hasty tidying of the house between the time you see the neighbour/friend coming and their knock on the door.

The latest neologism is scurryfunge.

I don't allow on spec visitors

My friends & family all know this

So, I always prepare for a day or so before

I don't know why I bother cos most of them are scruffs anyway

We can tell when our neighbours are having visitors because that’s when we hear them vacuum prior to any arrivals

Never heard the expression but yes my Mrs does it. Usually around me as I'm sprawled out on the sofa.

Hefty Hideaway

I never see on spec visitors coming thanks to a huge hedge obscuring the view. If I have a bit of notice I do titivate the bathroom and pop the kettle on.

I like that word though.

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

People take me as they find me, most of my visitors are friends or family and they walk straight in.

If for any reason I am occupied I place a notice on the door saying I am resting, at my age I can get away with that.

Thought this was going to be about one of those 'I must not google this but I can't help myself' sexual practices. Like sucking cum from an arsehole while said arsehole evacuates.

Yep, I'm a clean as I go sort of person. avoiding too much build-up.

So I can mostly be relaxed about unannounced visitors. Though I'd probably throw an extra hoovering in if given warning.

shits creek

Sometimes yes.

When I'm low mood the cleaning gets neglected. I'm more of an stay in bed all day and hide kinda person. It can take tremendous effort just to do the washing up at times, which is shit coz when it needs doing and I'm low it makes me feel even worse and a fail.

You need someone off the "naked cleaner" thread from a while back.

That would raise your mood, AND clean the house!

Two birds...
