Alexa only records after it hearts things that sounds like it's wake word (Alexa).

That will make the ring light glow blue and sound dip (so it's obvious if you are playing music).

You can even find the recordings that it does makes via the app if you want to be certain.

No, I was telling a story only today about being in a hotel room where the couple in the room next to me were at it and very noisy (the bed was also smashing against the adjoining wall). It was hot.

But I do have a funny story about someone who I use to game with online

Saying he was away from the mic when dead watching porn and knocking one out but for got to put his mic on mute

about 30 went by till another friend who was in the party piped up and went who’s watching porn he instinly left the party and unfriend us all

Haha. That's brilliant. I used to work with someone who, after a conference call, used to check he could hear a dial tone on the conference room phone before speaking. Apparently, he had had a bad experience once, not realising he hadn't hung up properly. Don't think he was having a wank that time though, apparently it's not the done thing in the board room!
