I loaned a book to a friend yesterday as he couldn't find his copy. ( i don't usually loan books out ) I folded down a few corners. He said .....what are you doing. I said, It's so I know I get my book back. He text me before and said that HIS brand spanky new copy comes from Amazon tomorrow and I can have that as it's untouched. He is going to have broken legs if he turns up here with a shiny new book ! When I read a book ..... it absorbs part of me into each leaf. You can see my journey through it. I'll share food with anyone. I enjoy feeding and entertaining. | |||

Some people fold amd snap the spin, or read it in the bath and the steam makes the pages steamyfied, or worse, the worst abuse a person can give a book are the bastards who lick their finger before turning the page. You can see where they have glearing at and almost sometimes be able to make out the fingerprint of the finger licking page turner.    | |||
