Which is the watch with the most accurate heart rate monitor?

Not interested in any fancy apps or features just an accurate monitor.

Do any of you fit people use one whilst on an exercise machine that also has one so you can prove it accurate?

Looking for recommendations.

Thanks guys

Depends what you need it for and what you’re doing.

I have an Apple Watch and it seems to work pretty well…

Watches will never be as accurate as a chest strap

I’ve got a Suunto 9 with a chest strap, works a treat and you can use the chest strap with the watch or with the app on your phone

I am intrigued to know (see) how larger chested ladies get on her heart rate chest straps...

The Town by The Cross

How accurate do you want it ?

I've got a £14.99 watch from amazon. Probably not that accurate BUT I measure before starting my run and measure during and after so the inreases in bpm are accurate and so is the distance run, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.

Does for me. So it might be 2 beats out to start...... doesn't matter when what im counting is the difference.

I can use the app too but took it off because it kept pinging me. That used to make graphs n all kinds but I didn't like the ads the chinese sent

I have the Samsung galaxy active watch and find the heart rate pretty bang on, just did a test the old fashioned way and counted to 60 and it matched what the watch was saying, I also use it when I'm in the gym on the treadmill, I haven't compared it with the one on the machine as the machine one sometimes won't work when I hold onto it

Paradise, Herts

Doctor said to me that the Apple Watch was as accurate as the hospital machines.

I had a sports bra with a built in chest strap and sensors on the bottom band...my heart rate monitor just clipped onto the front.

I use a watch these days
