I never really ‘got’ Bob, but I do love Subterranean Homesick Blues.

Fair play to him, and he deserves all the plaudits he gets, but I think his image sometimes flatters his talent.

Personally, I’d much rather listen to Paul Simon.

‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’- The haunting, short original movie soundtrack which Bob despised doing due to corporate interference and the possibly more intentional longer live version with Tom Petty on YouTube.

‘Like a Rolling Stone’- Bob stuck to his guns and kept the full six minutes for this one ... sadly for some it’s still a pertinent post pandemic classic.
