So I’m strolling up the road (as I type this) going to my local shop and I thought I’d see “who’s near”

Quite a few people apparently. I couldn’t help but wonder how many fabbers I walk past day to day, pretty sure they’d never recognised me as I trotted along in my joggers and trainers looking as far from a sexually deviant goddess as possible!

Has anyone ever been recognised from their fab photos or been sooo sure they spotted someone from fab?

I haven’t been recognised... but I recognised someone I was chatting to on here from pictures once while in Hollywood bowl... he was with his wife and kid which he forgot to mention

I didn't say anything and he shit himself when I sent him a message asking how bowling went.

It wasn’t even him who caught my attention in the first place. It was his wife, she had really long lovely hair that I was admiring and then I glanced over and noticed him with her

Yeah I get recognised all the time... Probs at least once a week... I often get messages on here like thanks for your help last week was quite a shock walking in to abc and recognising you from here, didn't want to say anything at the time incase it made you uncomfortable...

I don't really care at this point about being recognised, we're all adults and all here for similar reasons

Did recognise a Fabber in the supermarket once. Not sure if she recognised me but our eyes met, she looked a little worried and we went out separate ways!

Have also noticed a few previous play friends in town, naturally walked past with all but the slightest of nods. Discretion is everything.

I couldn’t care less about being recognised except I wouldn’t want my son being teased in school if it somehow impacted him, hence best to remain hidden for now.

I don’t think I’ve been recognised … but have seen a few familiar faces. One who was in the paper for doing something really good and community minded, one on a local amateur sports team and one working in a supermarket!

I guess it could go one of two ways - ignore and pass by, or turn into something interesting

Don't think we've been recognised, certainly no one has said.

We have recognised a couple of people from here.

Tbh we'd quite like it if someone knows us to get in touch as it would do away with the awkward first meet to see if we get on.

We get recognised quite a bit on here we blur faces but tbh between the Wife and her her unique hair colour and tattoos it doesn't take a genius to work out lol. Only reason we dont include face pics is so they dont get posted elsewhere or saved for any reason... we dont really care who finds out about our lifestyle a few close friends already know and i few of my mates from work has stumbled across us . Later that evening, I saw that same colour on fab. Procrastined for a while as I didn’t want to intrude on her space - even put a vague status update up about if I should ask I think?

Thought sod it, and sent her a message. She replied and laughed, she had been about to do the same!!

Isn’t that normal in Norfolk?

I’ve recognised a few people in my housing estate but I’d never approach or tell them via message unless I/they were interested in meeting

Hadn't realised her, and her husband (they had a couples profile) were both bi.

Family gatherings have never quite been the same since

I don't think I've been spotted but I have seen a friend on here. I recognised her tattoos in her fab photos, I haven't mentioned anything to her but I must admit I look at her differently now I've seen the fab naked pics.

Hot as hell too

When I click on a local woman's or couples profile and find I'm blocked, I always wonder if they've seen me, know me, and blocked me!

That is horrifying

I don't care who recognises me - just as long as it isn't family.

I don't want to be approached either because that's creepy

"I've recognised someone from here at the school gate, she'd hidden her face on here but not her wrist tattoo or her statuses about being pregnant lol"

see i find that level of attention to detail a bit creepy to be honest ... who recognises someone (at a school gate so not someone you know intimately) from a wrist tattoo

ive had people message that they recognise me because they know the background to my photos (ie my bedroom) from my dating profile photos - again just a bit too much attention being paid there , but at least it opened my eyes to being aware you are never really anonymous online

St. Ives

I'm not sure... I often get messages along the lines of.. "I've seen you around town", "I'm your local butcher"...
