I was mad on football as a kid but by my early teens had Lost all interest in it and got far more into music..I have absolutely no interest in it or any sport for that matter..

It’s fairly simple, if you put the ball in the oppositions net that’s a goal, the team with the most goal wins, whoever does that most over a season wins the kicky ball concert, they then pack up and do then start again 7 weeks later for another season.

What sports do you prefer? Wages are fuelled by the market, same as any other sports, it’s a short career too.

They earn a lot of money, clearly. But ultimately it’s a private industry, and look at what support and business it generates? Look at what the ESL proposal did - the Govt got involved. Look at how many fans go to games week in week out. How many watch it globally.

You rarely hear people moan about wages of an actor when they pick up £20m for a film.

some people are like I don’t get football 22 men kicking a bag of air around but then almost wet themselves they watch Wimbledon or when a new series of love island comes on the telly!

It’s not just the football its everything around it laugh with the mates down the pub before and after the singing the noise the abuse everything!

I like watching football, but I don't particularly follow a team. She says Spurs, apparently, though what John Wayne has to do with it I don't know.

1. Not necessarily blokes.

2. Not all players roll around.

3. Very few get paid millions.
