"I meet a lot of people through work and have a terrible memory, so people will frequently stop and chat to me and I've no clue who they are. Back in the late 90s I'd dashed out of the office at lunchtime to get a sandwich in Sainsbury's at Cheshire Oaks. Walking in I made eye contact with a bloke who smiled at me, I thought because he knew me, so I said hi and had a chat with him, asked after his family (I knew his face but had no idea who he was so didn't get more specific than that). Ended with "anyway, I'd best get my sandwich and get back or Jan's going to sack me, you know what she's like over us coming here, but it was lovely to see you, keep in touch, give my best to everyone", rabbiting away quite happily as I wandered off. Got back to the office, ate my butty, about 3 in the afternoon realised that it was bloody Mick off bloody Brookside. When I made eye contact he must've thought I recognised him, I thought from his acknowledgement he knew me. He never kept in touch, but I do hope he gave everyone my best. " There seems to be a trend to say I just spat my drink out reading that when something is funny. I don't have a drink but if I did I'm sure I would have spat it out reading that

"Ooh did you speak to him? I bumped into Daniel Craig walking into our local Co Op as I was walking out, he smiled and apologised despite it being my fault, of course I reciprocated. I didn't realise it was him at first. It was just after Casino Royale was released. I learned later he was visiting his Dad who lived about 4 mile away" Hi my friend no didn't speak to him there was a pianist playing and he nodded in approval x
