I go just primer, makes me shiny if I have too much moisture on the skin.

Try not to use moisturiser right before primer. Moisturise when you wake up, and should be absorbed enough for primer when you get to it. Don't forget spf after primer

Manchester (she/her)

I do both, but I'm more likely to use an oil controlling moisturiser under primer (I'll use slightly richer moisturiser on days I go without makeup)

SPF on bare skin or a moisturiser with SPF combined

somewhere, someplace

As others have said moisture with a spf containing moisturiser, let it sink in for a good while, then primer and makeup, a good tip is to use an eye primer on your nose area instead if you struggle with it getting claggy in that area and coming off easily x

Blimey, every day's a school day lol. Thank you all so much.

PS girls, where I'll be wearing it won't require SPF!

Use a nice moisturising primer like MUA followed by Avon concealer then favourite foundation to match skin tone.

"What the heck is primer? Foundation?"

No it’s not foundation.

The main purpose of primer is to smoothen out the skin, making it look more polished and even. Consider it like prepping the skin to create a canvas for the makeup you'll be putting on your face. Primer fills in the pores, blurs our blemishes, and gives smoothness to the skin.

You put foundation over the top x

Both but leave a good hour for your moisturiser to sink in. Also make sure you use products with the same base when it comes to primer and foundation

Derby

Both but not too heavy with the moisturiser and give it time to soak in well before you use primer
