Have you read the Ken Follett trilogy? Pillars of the Earth etc. Good historical facts mixed with a bit of fiction.

"A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown"

I enjoyed that book too. Another good one is Precious (originally called Push) by Sapphire. Difficult to read because it is unedited wrote in the girls own poor English. But an amazing read.

*scribbles notes*

I used to love Laurel K Hamilton's Anita Blake series until she got too full of herself. I wanted Richard, the sexy werewolf though, not any of the vampires.

For all you women who like 50 shades- read Nancy Friday's Women on Top and Men in LOVE

During the 80's she asked women and subsequently men to submit accounts of their fantasies. She then complies them. not for sqeumish there is everything in there....and I mean everything!

"A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown"

This book is SO good, I couldn't put it down. It also made me cry.

Also good in the same vein, are Tori Haden books. Fiction but based on her work as a teacher.
