It does indeedy, I didn't comment on that "why wasn't HM at the closing ceremony" thread, as I didn't like the flavour of some of the comments, I'd like to think those that did make iffy comments feel a bit now, but I guess that's unlikely

Torquay

He wasn't at the closing ceremony because he was in Cowes sailing with Tim Lawrence according to BBC news.

He was photographed on a boat over the weekend in a rather fetching Uncle Albert sailing hat.

Awww bless, get well soon prince Phillip! Amazing guy!

Wish people would stop royal bashing aye, they work hard and gave up their freedoms to swing to live that life

The other thread was in bad taste! Don't know many 80ish year olds who work as hard as they do!

It looks like he has an underlying problem that keeps resurfacing. Maybe its time for him to retire from attending events after all he is over 90.

little house on the praire

Sadly at 90 years of age, its something to expect. He seems pretty resilient but one small thing can go one way or another. I really hope he doesnt die this year as its been such a fantastic year. However, after hes seen the events that have happened over the last few months i do think its time he stepped back and charles take his place.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

He was doing walkabouts on the Isle of Wight so I thought he might have got better. He is the epitome of stoical. I have a real soft spot for him. He gave up his action man life for the love of his life. In spite of the all the speculation about them they keep their counsel but the family film footage Charles showed as his Jubilee tribute shows a close and loving marriage, a close and loving parent and a man to be proud to call husband or father.

I hope he pulls through this time too.
