Weird Takeaway

Okay, there are often regional variations of takeaway standard items which might seem strange to a visitor.

What is the weirdest takeaway you've ever come across?

Mine was a place in Chesterfield which did a pizza base topped with various curries. My favourite was always the 10" chicken korma pizza.

Don't laugh, it was surprisingly tasty!

I don't think it's weird, but visiting Lancashire a few years ago, I discovered baked bean, banana, pineapple and anchovy pizza!! Now that was amazing!!

I do have time for Staffies.

When I lived near Middlesbrough, they sold something called scraps. Absolutely loved them!!!

Now M&S sell them lol

In Yorkshire, scraps are called bits.

I was devastated when I moved to Derbyshire (posh they are down there) and watched the scraps / bits being thrown out.
