The most amazing sausage I ever savoured was served up in a Belgian youth hostel and supplied by the local butcher.

A good Cumberland ring will always come second place.

When it comes to wurst, whilst a currywurst is intriguing, I do find the amount of ketchup and curry powder to be a bit too much. I do prefer a bratwurst. (unt fritts)

When in cheap mode, I open a tin of chopped tomatoes and mix with a pack of chopped Herta smoked Frankfurters, served over pasta shapes of your choice.

ps have you ever seen the German sausage chopping machines?

Toulouse is lovely and garlicky, or a good quality pork with black pepper but my favourite has to be battered sausages from a chippy. Luckily they're very hard to get in Stockport otherwise I'd be a right fat(ter) bastard.

There's always the MacDougals by the train station in Stockport. They have regularly enabled me to be less slim than I would have been.

Particularly their inability to count form 1 to 2 when I've ordered a double sausage muffin and found out by Hazel Grove that I've only got one sausage.
