Have come here as i imagine that some people have been there in some way shape or form.

If you met someone on a dating app who told you they were single and you ended up in sexual relations with them turns out to have a partner what would you do?

Do you tell the persons partner and why?

I’d leave an odd sock in her vagina.

Husband finds my sock and realises.

Unless we have the same taste in socks.

Then I’d have another lost sock and he’d probably have a pair.

I wouldn’t tell the partner. I’d just leave it alone.

Not my business and they can live with their own guilt.

I found myself in almost this situation, although it was here on these very forums rather than a dating app.

I knew he was married but had been told it was no more than a technicality and he was very much single.

Lockdown part 1 hit and that's when I learned I wasn't the girlfriend of almost 2 years, I was the mistress of almost 2 years.

I still have pangs where I suffer incredible guilt and disgust with myself for not contacting his wife and giving her the information to make a knowledge based decision on what she wanted to do. To allow her an informed choice.

I hate that she is unaware because I do think she has every right to know, but at the same time I know I'll feel like scum of the earth if I tell her. I'm clinging and praying he has learnt and doesn't cheat again.

One of the worst things for me when my previous ex cheated on me was that people knew and didn't tell me and yeah, I'm just as fucking bad as them coz I've not got the balls to tell my most recent ex's wife that he's a liar and a cheat. Part of me is desperate for her to find out and have her contact me and I'll tell her everything. It's been a year since I learned the truth and we spilt, and I don't wanna be responsible for wrecking a family when he *could* have had the wake up call I tried to give him when it all came out.
