They work for two reasons

People have something to say

People are interested in what people say

in the night garden

They work by installing bulletin board software onto a server, incorporating it into a web site then putting that onto a live domain. Then advertising there whereabouts online.

It's really because all us forumites can't get meets as we're all munters with major mental health issues!!!! Hence we live in 'forumland' - so we don't have to leave our padded cells, can spend all day posting endless drive, dribbling on the keyboard - and also to protect society as a whole!

(Actually it's because we're all so lovely - and love all these exciting newbies that have arrived!! Ah! Fresh meat!!!! )
