When you go abroad or even stay in nice hotels in the UK, what things do you bring home? The coffee, the tea the shampoos?

Me personally I take towels if they have the hotel printed on them.

Oh and if I see I'm drinking from a nice glass from a pub, it accidentally falls into my bag.

Always glasses from pubs.

I have loads of posh glasses, but I can't resist pub glasses!

I'll take anything that's designed to be used by me and covered by what I've been charged, and in the big chains I'll take the face cloths as they are thrown away due to laundering costs.

The cost of stealing the rest is passed right back to the customer.

.

I've still got a collection of very large mugs from various coffee chains, all thanks to a uni challenge.

I do collect the toiletries, pre Covid days I would stay in a couple of different hotels almost every week. I donated all of them earlier this year to a charity collecting that sort of thing. I kept the fruit tea though.

Please don't take glasses from pub (except wheatherspoons) that's a cost the publican has to bare they are not cheap and after the nightmare that this past year has been non can afford to take that on I spent 14 years in the pub trade and know nothing more frustrating then having to put in orders for glasses because people nick them

Chams or Socials

I always take the toiletries & ask for them to be restocked daily - then I give them to the local Women’s Aid. The last big hotel we stayed in we brought back loads of towels because they were branded & the hotel had been brought out & they would have been binned.

I used to work in pubs so always had loads of freebie glasses but got sick of them not matching

Years ago I used to fly American Airlines business class a lot, and their goodie bags were packed with Molton Brown smellies.

The flights were very rarely full, so I used to snaffle the packs from any empty seats as well as my own.

From hotels I don't normally bother; I don't stay in posh enough hotels to get fancy smellies.

I've never taken a glass from a pub, I've never lived!
