Chams or Socials

We’ve been buying direct from a local farm so must be whole milk. It’s delicious! I’m normally a skimmed drinker though

Skimmed in summer, semi in winter and the odd pint of unpasteurised full fat from the farm if it’s really cold!

I work in colours & fat content with milk only.

Red - low fat

Green - mid fat

Blue - full fat

Orange - supposed to taste like green but have the fat content of red (I think)

I buy Green.

We absolutely love whole milk or cowie milk as it gets called in our house. But we are now on skimmed milk and really enjoying it. On special occasions I buy cowie milk as a treat.

Red is 0%

Green is 2%

Orange is 1%

I can't stand skimmed. I don't mind semi to be honest. I used to always buy green but then once my daughter turned one we went with whole milk and haven't looked back. It's much better.

We only have whole milk. Apparently the more cream you take away, the higher over-all proportion of sugar you end up with. Whole milk is healthier than skimmed, so I have read.

I agree but I buy Arla BOB milk now - it’s skimmed and no fat but tastes just like semi and you can drink it neat.

Skimmed for most of my life. I find it much more refreshing and it's hard trying higher fat now.

Semi for us.

Red top looks and tastes like someone put a droplet of white emulsion in a pint of water.
