This is not an advert and I hope this is within the rules..

But I am looking for places for my daughter to offer her homemade items...

I have suggest a facebook page, ebay ( but that works out expensive to be fair)

Its things like patchwork stuff... So any ideas would be welcomed.

Thats what i was going to say, bring and buy sales. I dont know if its officially illegal but when callum and his mate sold stuff for there holiday money they had a pasting table out the front and sold stuff and made a fortune.

I know you said Ebay but i would still look out as sometimes they do specials so you can put on free if you start bids at a certain price etc.

If not car boots but then you tend to get people that want something for nothing

Tell you what else you could do, you could put a big sign up in your window/shop windows to advertise a garage/garden sale but say what it is thats being sold, say for one saturday afternoon.

I sell my homemade soaps and bubble baths on face book and get orders all the time also every school fete charity events sometimes etc get her to do some business cards and tell he to get busy as Christmas is coming. She will make a fortune

Respectfully... Ebay might seem expensive but then marketing isn't cheap, hence your question where to sell. Whatever you do it will take a bite out of your profit.

You might get less of a return on Ebay but it has a massive catchment so your potential for overall income may be greater.

Have you looked around small market towns? Often shop keepers are more then willing to take a chance on putting your goods on their shelf. They will want a 'cut' but that's because they have the customers. You might have to drive some miles to get the product out there too but once again, sales/marketing isn't cheap.

We have looked at Ebay but it really can work out expensive.. I have thought about just putting an advert on there..

We have just got her booked into a local fete but not till october.. and she is getting to work on the kitchen ones.

Facebook she is already doing.. but I was just wondering if there was something I had not thought of.

Carboots we have been advised against... as been told people only want to pay a few quid for something..

but thanks anyway..

I am nearly as excited as she is... as its her first real big step out into the adult world..

Cali all overheads will cost unfortunately. Have you thought of going rounds shops and try getting to get them to sell and let them ad a bit on?

have yoi looked at amazon they now sell anytiing and they have a special section for people who make things to sell ..they have different fee structures ...im about to set up my own amazon account for my little sideline
