I'm still figuring out just how someone can meet, given the guidance.

Is this the part about exercising caution and considering the risks? So I guess I will have to take a measured approach

Being allowed to hug family and friends with caution isn't quite the same as hooking up with a stranger. I think most of us here are still going with 21 June being the date for meets being allowed, with the proviso it actually goes ahead, of course. Second jab Saturday so I'm considering socially distanced socials 10 days after that and potentially meeting next month. Still going to do lateral flow tests before socials to minimise risk, though still no guarantee

a question for me. His personal affairs have to be carefully considered, considering I cant decide for him.

Visited pub yesterday evening. And far from what the tabloids no doubt will tell us, it was very civil, not busy, socially distanced. Was amazing to have the option to meet a friend for a drink inside again. Another step forward !
