Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

"Persistence isn't using the same tactics over and over.

That's just annoying.

Persistence is having the same goal over and over."

Seth Godin

The only problem is that the persistent men seem to be using both definitions.

I know what you mean, but persistance can reap rewards at times.....depends on the guy though

i would have thought it far easier to block someone who was annoying you then coming on the forum.

or is this another slamming single guys thread?

In fairness I did not think it was a snipe - I thought it was just an airing of a view?

I would rather have persistence any day over apathy or indifference. I like someone to express that they are keen. Ok its a fine line but there is always the block button if they are too persistent.

It was a quote I liked on persistence and applies to life generally, not fab in particular. It is about not losing site of the goal but not doing the same thing that has had a negative impact over and over again.

I have rarely slammed men on here as it is men I am trying to meet. It would seem rather counter-intuitive to be dismissive of the group I seek to attract. I have posted on threads by men asking why they don't get replies to let them know what works and what doesn't with me. I can only remember starting one thread when I was exasperated by a man who was asking to meet an 'Indian Ho'.

If you'd like to read my additional comment about persistent men using both definitions as slamming men then that is your interpretation and, as we know, the reader is as much the author as the writer.

But my favourite is

Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.

I like that a lot! Nothing worse than a distracted kiss. Persistent good kissing always welcome.
