I wouldn't call myself a huge northern soul fan but I've had a couple of really good night's out at the king's hall all nighters in Stoke.

As someone who used to frequent "The Highland Room" Mecca, Blackpool.

Back in the day.

Love "Northern Soul"

The last place I heard any, was the Smokestack in Leeds.

Just before the pandemic started.

Not strictly a Northern Soul venue, but mixed in to a a great playlist.

Hope it survives.

Just do it, there might not be that one day.

In general it's a really friendly crowd and you'd soon find new soulie friends to meet up at events

South Lakes

After many years of not going to any northern soul dances I started again 3 years ago and my head forgot that it had been 30 years since last hitting the dance floor seriously, at my 4th NS dance I dropped, half got back up and discovered I had torn my medial ligment, It's the secongd time I did that so have to avoid listening to NS because I cant sit still when it's on. Blackpool tower used to be a top venue.
