Just a light hearted post to see what is the best reason/excuse for a meet not happening because I was given an absolute bramer this weekend

He had crashed his car just around the corner from where we were to meet. I had seen the fire engines , police and ambulance going by but didn't have a clue.

I left a few messages on his phone unaware that the police had it lol wonder if they checked the messages hehe

The shop she was working at had flooded and had to stay on to clear it up. To be fair there had been torrential rain that day

Had one once many moons ago that just didn't show after we'd been chatting for ages and I'd booked a hotel!

She text me the next day to say she was really sorry but she'd accidentally wiped her phone and as such had lost my number and the name of the hotel.

Strange that - seeing as i'd sent 3 texts asking if she was ok and was running late! Even stranger that having 'lost' my number she managed to text to apologise next day!

Still - the hotel didn't go to waste - was one of those lucky days when someone else in town had been stood up too - and was round half an hour later!
