Nice guys cum last

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I have been told by a fair few women on here that I seem like a nice man, which I take as a huge compliment.

I can't and won't change who or how I am.

But being in a bit of a contemplative mood this morning, I got to wondering, is it detrimental, being "a nice man" on here.

Not at all, but it's not necessarily a plus either - people are people and like and look for different things.

What some see as "nice" others will see as "meh" etc

I've found that just being myself and letting people take me or leave me based on that is the way to go.

Meh to me is someone who has nothing interesting to say, or never disagrees with anyone.

Being nice is great, but it is pretty much the average expectation of a person.

We need to be more than just nice. There needs to be more that defines us else we can end up being pretty boring.

Take the 'nice guys finish last' phrase. That implies that the non nice guys finish first, but why? It's because they have things defining them. They are often assertive, confident, edgey, exciting, etc. These all make them more interesting and attractive and can make them stand out from the crowd.

There is no reason why we can't be nice and more. We all have more, we just need to figure out what that is, build it up and not be afraid to let people see that side of us.

That is when we will finish first.

Everyone's different and is looking for different things. The important thing is just be yourself, otherwise it won't work anyway.

I like to think I'm nice and a good laugh, some will think no thanks, others will think that's what I like. Win some lose some, but it's on your terms

Agreed. It all comes down to attraction, whatever that might imply. Nice / pleasant what have you should be expected by default.
