What happened to my

morning?!

I was lying in bed at 5.30am, windows open, listening to the cacophony that is early dawn after a smattering of rain, watching the birds going about their business and thought I’d take a brief gander in here. I read a thread or two.

After contributing my waffle to a couple of threads, I wandered to the kitchen for some juice. This little ritual takes me all of six minutes perhaps. I sat on a stool and had my juice whilst reading through a thread or two.

I got a little stiff on the stool but it was time I made my coffee anyway. I grabbed the strawberries from the fridge and made my way to the sitting room, laid on the sofa and read a thread or two.

I finished my coffee and carried on nibbling the strawberries. I thought it was a little odd because they were room temperature. I finished them off, eventually, whilst reading a thread or two.

It was time for a little breakfast. I walked into the kitchen and noticed something was wrong with my clock because it was reading 11.45am. Surely not, how could it possibly be six HOURS since I started reading a thread or two?

What I want to know is, what happened to my morning?? All I did was read a thread or two!

Exactly!! Theory of relativity doesn’t explain this.

I eventually tweaked why they weren’t cold anymore. How long does it take for strawberries to warm to room temperature?
