My trusty pair of north face flip flops were destroyed by my 12 week old Velociraptor last night. They’ve survived conflicts but couldn’t survive a puppy chewing them. So I’m after recommendations for new ones!

Requirements are comfortable, stylish...ish, and

Hardwearing

I’ve just bought some Gumbies but want a second pair, I wear flip flops a lot

Gutted for you, I’ve got a pair, and I love them.

I tend to wear Birkenstock’s as they have arch/heel support!

Sorry, you lost me at “flip flops.” I like my feet covered because the damage from stubbed toes just aren’t worth it!!!

Genuinely gutted though

These have been to Iraq and afghan. Walked miles in them

I’ve looked at Birkenstock, but I just can’t see me in them! Do look super comfy and practical

But they are words my mum uses

Comfy enough on Rocky ground and do they stay on your feet when running? (Not like a 5k run) more like a quick sprint! “ shit!!! There’s a lion!”

Sort of panicked run

Yes they would, a good thick sole so you won’t feel rocks and stones under foot.

If you need to run that quick who cares what your wearing

My dad had these for years! I always remember them being by the back door to quickly throw on if he needed and he always took them on holiday too. Now my partner has some. They've definitely stood the test of time!

Chams or Socials

If it’s any consolation, when ours was a puppy she chewed a brand new unworn pair of shoes that cost £60. And the replacement pair. And the heel of another pair. She was a bloody nightmare!!!
