Rats and cats are mortal enmities, cats usually hunt rats. Either by beating them to death on the drive or clawing there neck or biting them on the neck for a quick kill. Rats are attracted to bird seed and will travel distances for certain food. If you have a rat nest in your garden, you have to get pest control in. Don’t put rat poison down, as this may hurt the bird population in your area. If you put down bird set which rats love, switch to birds nuts or fat balls which they are not as keen on.

I dont even have a garden I live in a flat
