"I take my mum to the podiatrist fairly regularly. If it hurts, I would be the first to know about it if anything was afoot. " It did hurt, it hurt like hell when he touched my foot.

"I hurt one of my feet last autumn. After several weeks of pain i went to the walk in centre, i expected to have an xray. They didn't xray me but said it's soft tissue damage. It's got worse and worse and i can't control the pain. So i had several appointments with my GP on the phone, then in person, then referred to podiatory. I have distinct areas on my foot that are extremely painful. Months ago my GP said i had Mortons Neuroma but i didn't have those symptons. Then i was told it was certain structures in my foot that were damaged. The guy today said he thinks it's neurlogical, nerve damage so now i need to see a neurologist. It bloody hurts " I hope they find a treatment that works for you. Hurty feet make everything difficult.

"OP, didn't you say you have Sjogrens? Neuropathy and auto immune stuff like Sjogrens could indicate something like lupus. I'd ask your GP to do the auto antibody bloods normally done for lupus (anti-nuclear antibodies) and possibly ask for referral to a rheumatologist " Yes i have SS. I told the guy today and the peripheral neurophy is probably to do with that (he googled SS) although could also be caused by a back injury that he thinks is causing problems with the nerves and therefore causing the other pain in one foot. I have asked my GPs if i can see a rheumatologist but they seem to waffle on about me not needing to as i go to a maxillofacial clinic for SS. The SS specialist locally doesn't seem to be much good but I've reasearched and there's a guy in Birmingham that has a good reputation so I'm going to ask to go to his clinic. However my GP surgery aren't allowing appointments to discuss being referred to a clinic. I have wondered about Lupus as many people with SS also have Lupus. I just seem to be going round in circles

Yeah i know, it was the maxfax clinic that found i have SS, that's why i go there. Plus when i got a partoid gland infection it was maxfax that got me in to hospital for high dose antibiotics. They are good for those problems caused by SS but obviously no good for anything else lol. I will ask for the bloods thank you
