Bought myself some lovely flowers today.

When was the last time you had flowers?

Do you like receiving them?

Do you like buying them?

Oddly enough pics on here that include flowers always catch my eye.

I can’t stand cut flowers. The smell reminds me of death!

I prefer wild flowers or a plant.

I’d like a cheese plant.

I don't like cut flowers, I'd rather see them still growing....plus they set my hayfever off

The best flowers I've ever received were from an ex who secretly grew some sunflowers as he knows they're my favourite, and he presented me with a display of about 20 plant pots with sunflowers growing in them

I'm growing sweet peas for the first time. I didn't think they were the type of plant for cutting. More a climber. No? I bought a trellis so I better be right

I have a dragon plant thing in my office at home - not sure how but it has survived since about June last year!

I always have fresh flowers in my living room too... not sure why, but I always think they finish the room off and are nice to have if ever anyone pops round.

Nearer than you think

I buy myself fresh flowers weekly. I don't drink, smoke, have any expensive hobbies, so it's my small indulgence. I have a vase on my desk at work, too.

The last time I got flowers was shortly after Christmas from a friend that behaved like an utter bitch on Christmas Eve

They were beautiful from Bloom and Wild but it didn't make up for her behaviour

I buy myself some regularly as it brightens me up and makes me think of my Grandad who used to have a plot of land and grew flowers for the house.

A neighbour asked me the other week who's the lucky girl when we are in lockdown?? When I said they are for me he thought I was joking.. can't straight men buy something 'nice' every now and again without having there sexuality questioned??

Just planting my garden with this years blooms.

We have already had our snowdrops and daffodils and are currently enjoying the bluebells.

Haven't had flowers bought for me in eons and dont have a sense of smell to appreciate their scent so prefer to have them in the garden. That said, I do love to have sweet peas in the house (and you are supposed to cut them to encourage them to keep flowering). My mum and daughter have brought some plants on from seeds this year too.

Pure white lilies are my top favourite as they represent purity, sensuality and a couple of other things to me

Sunflowers for different reasons

White roses, again for different reasons

And then there is the wilderness:

Poppies

Cornflowers

Dandelions

They are a climber but the more you cut the flowers the better they grow. When I had a garden I used to grow them every year. I have a really old crystal glass I used for them and the smell used to waft through the whole house.

My lovely Husband bought me red roses when he met me off the train on our first date.

I kept them, dried, in a memory box.

He has offered to buy me more since, but I say no.

I prefer flowering plants to cut flowers.

I would prefer Moroccon mint rather than flowers as I'm allergic to them!

The mint makes the best tea with Honey or Agave!

I've never had a woman buy me flowers though.....

I wouldn't be emmbarressed as a guy! I'd say thanks very much, sneeze a crap load & give them to a female friend or relative instead.
