"Ive owned a few....but the holy grail for me would be a 1971 Hemi 'Cuda.....( closely followed by a a 1970 boss 429 mustang, a 1971 formula 455 firebird, and a 1967 pontiac gto" We picked up a 69 camaro for restoration. Some cars are insanely priced. Hubby had some when he was younger he gets mad now knowing the prices.

"Elanor https://youtu.be/m9EugvXW09E Eleanor from the Cage movie is my favourite muscle car too but it's a shame that the licence owners are litigious cretins." It’s a shame that so many Ford sierras have been covered in fibreglass and made into “replicas” Saw 3 replicas at Oulton Park a few weekends ago.

"Probably a 69 Camero One of my favourite muscle cars in the U.K. Johnny Smith (used to be on Fifth Gear) owns a Dodge Charger but it’s largely unrestored. I absolutely love it. It’s really tatty looking but tastefully modified to be usable. " The Camaro was the first car I drove, aged 13 whilst visiting family in America

"Obvious choices are; ‘69 Charger (General Lee & baddies car in ‘Bullitt’) ‘68 Mustang GT390 (McQueens wheels in ‘Bullitt’) ‘70 Dodge Challenger (‘Vanishing Point’) Plymouth Superbird (200MPH, on NASCr circuits) Mid-late 60s Chevelles & Novas And, by that time, it wasn’t by any stretch of the imagination a ‘muscle car’, but the ‘77 Trans-Am, in ‘Smokey & The Bandit’ As already mentioned above; AC Cobra A car with a killer reputation 0-60, in around 4seconds 0-100, circa 8.8 165MPH (gearing dependant) One even touched 195, & was the subject of a classic car programme (or was it 190MPH?) No turbos, no supercharging, no fancy electronics, no aerodynamics Just a 427cubic-inch V8 (circa 7.0), a 4- speed gearbox Set in the 60s/very early 70s; ‘Two Lane Blacktop’ The grey primer’55 Chevrolet, running a 454ci (in the ‘hero car’) Driven in the film by James Taylor (the singer/songwriter), it was also Harrison Fords car in ‘American Graffiti’" Now that’s car porn

"Elanor https://youtu.be/m9EugvXW09E Eleanor from the Cage movie is my favourite muscle car too but it's a shame that the licence owners are litigious cretins." ....the Nick Cage Eleanor mustang was built by Chip Foose.....and is NOT what a stock 67 shelby gt500 looks like. The original Eleanor mustang was a yellow 1971 mach 1....(the original gone in 60 seconds movie from the early 70's, made by and starringg H B Hallicki)
